The charm was made using an impression of an antique wax seal that dates back to the 1800's France.

The Viceroy tulip is an emblematic of wealth and status - and a reminder to stay grounded in spite of fame.
There's an Latin quote about tulips written after the Tulipomania crash of 1637, it goes:
"Without its colors, it would be nothing."
Tulips were a symbol of wealth and status and were traded like currency.
In the year 1636 the price for a tulip bulb of the type "Viceroy" was:
Two loads of wheat, four loads of rye, four oxen, eight pigs, 12 sheep, 79 liters of wine, 425 kg of cheese, 4 tons of butter, a bed, some clothes and a silver cup.
In the spring of 1637 prices for the bulbs crashed, everybody sold, and the bulbs were worthless ...
